Daily Journal 6/26/14
Well today was just an ordinary day for me. It started out with a cup of coffee and getting ready for work. Then going to work at the resort I work for and selling show tickets. It was terribly slow and I spent the day talking with my coworkers and working on the rough draft for my reader response discussion. It is nice once in awhile to have a slow day with very few customers. That especially helps me get my English work done faster. It is funny one of the customers I had today had to sit in vip seating for the show they wanted to go see. It amazes me how people think those seats are especially better than the rest and they feel they are to good to sit in regular seating. I had to call the theatre and find out how good the seats were before they would commit to going. What makes some people think they are better than the rest of us? Is it the fact they have more money? The way they were raised or did they develop this feeling of superiority as they got older? I have a lot of daily concerns that seem so much more important than something as ridiculous as where I am seated in a show. I would rather act like a normal person doing regular things and treating everyone like I would want to be treated. Wow! I went off on a rant on that subject! Anyway it was just a regular slow day maybe tomorrow will be more exciting.
